Hand it the card and a folder of b-roll. It gives you back an editable CapCut project with the pauses out, the captions word for word from the script, and the three hooks ready to rearrange.
Nothing to set up and no password to remember. You already have an Aditor login - that is the one this uses. Sign in at Gen Editor as you always do and click Cutter; it knows who you are from there.
Your footage is on a drive plugged into your laptop, and a CapCut project can only be written into CapCut's own folder on that laptop. No web page can reach either. So the cutting runs on your Mac, and this page does the part that has to be shared.
What crosses between them: the script, some file names, and one small still per clip - because something that cannot see the footage cannot choose a shot. Small stills, never the video files.

The cut, the captions and the CapCut writing all run on your own machine. This page only chooses the shots and remembers the rules.
